Meet Andrea and Curiosity Sparked

Andrea brings decades of experience in early childhood education to our community, having founded and operated two licensed early childhood centers before turning her attention to a new venture: Curiosity Sparked.

Alongside her professional background, she holds a bachelor’s degree in social science with an education concentration and is currently pursuing a master’s in Educational Technology and Instructional Design, bringing both hands-on wisdom and forward-thinking practice to her work with children.

On August 17, Andrea is opening Curiosity Sparked, a home-based childcare and enrichment program designed around a simple idea: kids thrive when they’re given room to wonder, explore, and create. The family child care program is currently undergoing the licensing process and will serve kids ages 6 weeks- 13 years.

Families will be offered full-time, part-time, and before- and after-school care.

The space blends a warm, modern farmhouse feel with hands-on learning zones — indoors and out — built around a 12-month curriculum that grows with children from toddlers through the teen years.

In addition to traditional child care, extracurricular classes and Kids Night Out opportunities will be available.

Curiosity Sparked also has a bigger vision on the horizon: a virtual learning program supporting social-emotional growth, executive function, and life skills for kids ages 2–18, along with pop-up classes and printable learning tools for families.

Andrea is a single parent herself, and she brings that same care and understanding to every family she welcomes into the Curiosity Sparked community.
