Welcome to Little Koalas Family Child Care LLC!
What started as a casual suggestion from her husband blossomed into an exciting new adventure for Claudette DuBose. Claudette, her husband, and their two children were nearing the end of a year-long RV trip around the United States. They feared that putting down roots near family might mean the end of their adventures and excitement, but opening a child care program brought new energy and purpose to their family.
Together, they have fixed up, decorated, organized, and brainstormed ways to make Little Koalas an adventure for every child who comes through its doors. Claudette is working toward becoming licensed and hopes to eventually offer a preschool program. She also plans to provide a monthly “Parents’ Night Out” that will surely be a hit with both parents and children.
Located in the Bolivar area of Polk County, Little Koalas will serve a community with very limited child care options. Adding a licensed family child care program will create much-needed capacity and provide families with another dependable, high-quality option close to home.
The Little Koalas family hopes to help meet this critical need while making a meaningful impact during the important early years of every child they serve.
